Top-100 in Canada
Two local courses make the list
Two Grey-Bruce golf courses - The Georgian Bay Club near Thornbury and Cobble Beach Golf Links near Owen Sound - were rated among the top-100 golf courses in Canada in 2008.
The private Georgian Bay club was rated 43rd overall while Cobble was 66th in SCOREGolf magazine's recent top-100 list.
Last year, Cobble Beach was rated by the magazine as the third best new course in Canada.
The #1 rated golf course was the private National Golf Club of Canada in Woodbridge.
The rating appears in the August/September edition.
